A modern take on the traditional bushwalking jacket to suit today’s ultralight user. The Highplains Jacket is an ultralight (12 only 310g!), waterproof, windproof, breathable bushwalking or travel rain shell.
By combining an ultralight 3-layer waterproof fabric with Mont’s beloved thigh-length fit, the Highplains Jacket provides comprehensive protection at a fraction of the weight of a traditional 3/4 jacket.
Hydronaute Ultra provides and maintains consistent breathable, waterproof, windproof protection across a wide range of conditions.
Hydronaute Ultra uses an innovative ultralight microporous laminated PU (Polyurethane) membrane. Breathable through interconnected micropores far smaller in size and greater in number than the micropores in traditional microporous PU coatings, Hydronaute Ultra moves moisture vapour and condensed moisture efficiently in both high and low level humidity.
Hydronaute Ultra is more breathable across a wider range of conditions while maintaining a totally waterproof, windproof exterior.
Look after your gear so it can look after you. Hydronaute Ultra is an ultralight 3 layer material and as such has a lower resistance to wear and tear. It is not recommended for use with heavy packs.
