Nepal S.A Ice Axe

Designed for classic mountaineering and glacier walks on our Nepal ice axe has a forged steel blade, and an adze. Its shaft is slightly curved to facilitate the self-arrest manoeuvre (hence the name S.A.), a technique used by climbers to stop a slide with the use of an ice axe and no other system. Its leash is equipped with a rubber tip protector. Aluminium shaft it is easy to handle. This Ice axe may look basic and not the most technical but it is made with precision and for easy usability for those who venture into the mountains.
