The Mont Tanami is made from highly durable Infinity Corespun Canvas, is suitable for the most technical hikes and has a harness with enough muscle for much larger loads.
The Tanami is built from Infinity Corespun canvas, an Australian-made highly durable poly/cotton fabric. The strength of the fabric is due to the composite yarn: a polyester core with cotton wrapped around it. The composite yarn base provides superior strength & unequalled performance. Once woven the fabric is treated with a wax based polymer for water resistance, anti-bacteria protection & UV stability.
The Moto Active Harness System provides long distance comfort on mid to high volume packs.
- Contoured Shoulder Straps. Shoulder straps map the curves of your torso & provide stability & comfort on the longest of walks.
- Dual Vertical & Single Horizontal Hollow Core Stays. Weight is transferred directly to the hip-belt via two hollow-core aluminium stays. Hollow-core stays are 20% lighter & 25% stronger than previously used extruded aluminium stays.
- Multilayer Foam Hip Belt. Moto Active contoured hip-belt with 8 layer construction: open & closed cell foams, HTPE sheet & highly durable Cordura Nylon.
- V-Ridge Foam. Stay cooler with the ventilated, non-moisture-absorbing, V-Ridge Foam back panel.
- Single Point Adjustment. Adjust the back length with one simple change.

SPECIFICATIONS
TRIPLE MACHINE STITCHED
All load bearing webbing points are triple machine stitched and then bar tacked for unparalleled strength. We take the view that you should be able to pick up a loaded pack using any webbing point.
CORDURA REINFORCEMENT
Cordura® fabric provides durable performance for a variety of end uses, including packs, luggage, workwear and motorcycle apparel. Cordura has excellent tear and abrasion resistance and long-lasting durability.
Cordura fabric is constructed with qualifying Invista yarns which are woven in the classic 2×2 basket weave construction in accordance with Invista’s approved fabric standards for the Cordura brand.
HOLLOW FORM STAYS
The Hollow Form Aluminium Stays used in Mont packs are made from high strength, low weight 6000 series aluminium and are 25% stronger and 20% lighter than traditional extruded aluminium stays. These stays can be removed and shaped for a perfect fit.
AIR FLOW V-RIDGE FOAM
Mont packs have a V-Ridge Foam in the back body contact panels. This low-density closed cell foam does not absorb moisture and the V-Ridge profile allows air flow to minimise overheating and maximise moisture dispersion.
HYDRATION BLADDER COMPATIBLE
This pack is hydration bladder compatible with a bladder pocket inside the main compartment. The bladder hose threads through a cleverly designed slot above the shoulder yoke and easily locates on either shoulder strap.

CONTOURED HIP BELT
Mont hip-belts are designed for ergonomic, load carrying comfort. They’re made with dual density foam and a third layer of ultra-high density contoured foam along the split support wings. The hip-belt pulls inwards and draws in tension along the top and bottom support wings, distributing weight across the entire hip-belt.
